I'm sure Bill France will step in and write another check to ensure that his stupid DP cars are faster again.
While I'm hopeful for this series, I just can't imagine NASCAR letting go of the reigns and letting this series from without their "racertainment" guidance.

The reason the DPs were faster at Daytona should be obvious to anyone with any knowledge of both series. I would have been shocked if the DPs were slower than the P2s at Daytona. However a track like Mid Ohio or Barber I expect the P2s to dominate. Sebring seems to have a decent balance which isn't surprising.
